and Giles with his borrowed natural magic powers. I couldnt help
feeling that the magic battles there were completely inadequate. They
used some scorcherhand-spells and a binding spell. Material
manipulation and mental domination.

Why didnt Whedon go all out and hire some AD&D experts. You know,
have'em cast a spelltrigger and contingencies for shield, prot. from
normal weapons and missiles. Draw upon holy might would be nice or
what ever happened to imprisonment and disintegrate.

Willow was called by Anya the most powerfull wicca on the western-
hemisphere. Well, IMO she couldnt be greater than a CE lvl 7-8 mage.
So now Im thinking of making a mod, a Hellmouth mod, where you can
import your char and start wreaking havoc on earth. Wouldnt that be
nice. Or you can start a romance with the babes (or guys but
personally I dont fancy that much). Sigh, been playing AD&D games too
long ;)

No way in hell. What is there about charmed that is soo charming. I mean, plotwise then. Buffy went on from being a silly show about a girl who has superpowers to an all out frenzy of misery, death and well, feelings. I never experienced so much in a show. Especially the season 6 finals. Especially especially the very last scene with spike. Boy, is he screwed or what. And the foremost reason that I like BTVS is the fact that there is so much misery. And humans define reality best through misery. So the show is real.

(And Michelle Trachtenberg is HOT!!)
