In a nutshell, IWD2 is sequel to IWD, but it utilizes the 3E AD&D rules instead of 2E. Characters from IWD are NOT importable into IWD2. Aside from the difference in the rules, the games will be very similiar in style. If you liked IWD, then IWD2 is a MUST buy! [img]smile.gif[/img]

O and Spells

Check out the Blackisle Forums (should be accessible from that same page). They have a partial list of spells in the Icewind Dale 2 general discussion thread. Classes for IWD2 will follow the 3E rules except that no prestiges classes are included. Races include humans, half-orcs, elves, halflings, gnomes, dwarves, assimars, and tieflings. Some of the races have more than one type available and dark elves (drow), deep gnomes (Svirfniblen) and dark dwarves (duergar) are also available. Classes are: Fighters, rangers, paladins, barbarians, sorcerors, wizards, clerics, druids, monks and rogues. I can ONLY hope that i haven't left anything out. [img]smile.gif[/img]
