Have you ever wondered what happens after death? I have, and it always raises a chill up my spine, no matter how I think about it, I always come up with my answer as eternal darkness... That would be so boring, now come on, I think part of my problem is my lack of religion, if I was a person who considered myself religious, I'd believe in what ever that higher place everyone speaks of is... But I'm not. So, I always think we are dead, with eternal black, nothing to do, just sit there, and enjoy ourselves. Well, with what ever we can do in a pitch black area... If you believe something different, please, let's hear it, I do not want any religous argueing though, I just want opinions on after death beliefs...

I think that we'll be born as another person (not reincarnated or ressurected, just sorta...a new person) with no memory of your other life...almost like a past life. I just can't see an 'afterlife' coming.

*thinks long and hard about life after death* ... .. .. ... Acording to my religion, the human mind cannot imagine what heaven or hell will be like. *Life after death remind him of the "Wear did God come from thought"* I need some tylonal that makes my head hurt.

When I was 19, I was pronounced legally dead for two minutes. I have no recolection of that experience, and certainly do not remember seeing any "white lights" as some claim. I do not pretend to know what happens after deat, nor do I wish to. I am not religous, I neither believe nor disbelieve in any omnipetent being, but there are two constants in life: death and taxes. What happens when we die? We die, we cease to exist. Game over, man.

Exactly. Take stock in this man's words.
Death is not to be feared, there is nothing detrimental in oblivion. You can't be 'bored' as you will no conscious mind to be bored with. There is just a complete cessation of life's consciousness. You won't even know that you're dead, simply because you will no longer exist as a conscious entity. Not to worry, pain and grief are things that come with life, not death. You will no longer have the need for entertainment or stimulation, you will no longer have needs period. Your body's nutrients will be recycled into the ecosystem, utilized and incorporated into the living bodies of other organic lifeforms. The circle continues, you played your part, thank you and good night.

Well, I have no clue, I will never have a clue, and according to Hierophant, I'll never have a clue, cause even after I'm dead, none of my body will be functioning so, I wont even know whats going on while I'm actually in the position... so, I believe in eternal blackness, as if I were damned for eternity, or anyone else for that matter who dies, blackness, just plain out blackness...
