ok, ive been having this problem for awhile, and have tried to resolve it w/ a restart. it didnt work, and after about an hour of playing, it still slows down no matter what im doing. i tried playing IWD and it doesnt have this problem, effectively killing my theory that it was WinME(altho it still quite possibly is). so, doesn anyone know how this might be resolved?

Check your graphics options. Things like static animations (evil things http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif) and weather effects - turn them off and notice the speed-up. Also play with the cache amount in the setup . You could also use 680*400 screen to save speed too

3D acceleration can be a pain, as well as 3D animations.

Since the game slows down, it appears your chace-file is getting full. Make sure you have plenty of disk-space left.

I also had the same problem. Restarting the computer is helpful, but is there a way to clean out your cache files without restarting your computer? Thanks.

If you have soundblater live running turn off and use game compatible device instead also try ctrl+alt+del and individually endtask all options except explorer and sysry. It works for me and i have windows ME.
