I knew both soldiers in the 2nd attack that took place Saturday @ 0545hrs local.
I left the 2BCT 1ID, last year just after and just before the stop move was opened and closed. Now I sit here, from where I train soldiers, wondering what we can do to prevent more of these from transpiring.

I know you didn't ask for replies, and I certainly don't know enough about the situation to get specific. However, I would think that enemy forces in Iraq would be wise to the troop rotation and would be paying especial attention to the rotation points and routes as targets. Just my 2 cents.
