Howdy, I beat IWD awhile ago and am currently playing BG/TOTSC for the first time (I'm in chapter 4). When I finish I'm either going to download DSOTSC and play with an evil party. Or I'm going to pick up HOW and play it. I was just wondering what HOW adds to IWD? Zones? Items? Spells? Monsters? Classes? yada yada yada. I think HoW is pretty good considering that Black Isle came out with a FREE extention which is as least as big as IWD that occurs just after IWD (great trainer and char blder before HoW). It's ~ 73mb DL'd from various sources. Just do a search of this forum to find a few.

HoW adds several new areas, new monsters, new spells and new items. The free download (ToL)) adds new items, new monsters and new areas but no new spells. Adding both of them really expands the original IWD game, and ToL corrects a bunch of residual item bugs as well. Well worth the download!
