In the middle of the Lost Sea, deep underwater, are the three ruined buildings that is all that remains of Collasium. The pirate treasure is in two chests outside what appears to be a big entrance chamber. Use spirit eye and you should see some white dots.

SPOILER: The entrance chamber is actually an exit, the real entrance is under a corner of the big ruined temple.

BTW, is this treasure worth it at the latest stages of the game, or will it be som kind of random generated oomphaz plate mail and similar crap?

Going through Collasium is essential for the main quest, 'cos it has the thre tablets you need to enter Cet's Pyramid. So you may as well grab the treasure on the way. I really can't remember if the treasure was worth the effort on its own though.
