I just want a few opinions here...when planning to do the really tough extra quests like Twisted Rune,Slave Lords,etc. should I/could I complete them in chapter 2 or would it be a better idea to go through to chapter 6 and do them then? I have never done either of these before but want to now for the staff,katana and other loot which I have never seen.

I did twiseted rune much later on, I guess it was after chapter six. Pretty hard quest.

What Slave lord quest? i don't remember any particularly difficult slavery-related quest-- this the bard thing or the copper coronet thing at all?

I did my slaver ship quest in chapter 3. It's not too hard if you know where the traps are.
