Hiya all. Just wanted to see if there is anyone that can help out with some info about good places to see and visit when in New York. My lucky sister is going there on vacation on a longweekend trip and so I wonder if anyone can give me some useful hints here to tell her about.

The Museum of Modern Art - there used to be the most fabulous HUGE Monet waterlilies there, two in a room to themselves...... so beautiful they could make you cry.... And Van gogh's Starry Night is there too....... and loads of other good stuff....

I so loved Central Park. I thought it was going to be horrible, for some reason, but it's just stunning. Narnia lamposts, also, I'd love to see it in winter a la The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.
