Hello, I have a problem with Darkstone that i cant explain, it was working fine a few days ago now all of the sudden I cant start it up. It keeps saying no Direct X detected, Please install Direct X 6 or better. but i have DX 8.1 installed. Anyone know whats wrong, ive reinstalled twice and its not working. I wanna play.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not positive on this, but I know DirectX 8.1 is fully compatable with all earlier versions and their applications. Although, your application (i.e. Darkstone) may not be compatable with DirectX 8.1.

Did you have 8.1 before you installed Darkstone the first time, or did you just d/l it?
