I just wonder... maybe this was posted about many times before... I did a search about it but couldnt find it.
So my question is. Where did the name "Ironworks" come from? Hah, made you look. Ain't nothing here but us text. ;) [ 11-02-2004, 06:19 PM: Message edited by: ZFR ] |
It came from an obscure regional dialect called "English" on a backwater planet somewhat haphazardly named "earth."
That the forum was formed around computer role-playing games, which feature extraordinary amounts of "steel on steel" action is to be disregarded as a coincidence. |
The Transformer of the same name.
*looks left and right in a shifty manner* ;) |
Actually, I always thought the name might originate from "Ironworks, Kentucky," near Lexington. Big Z, originally from Louisville, I think, may have noticed this, I dont know. Tell us, Dan, I must know!!!! :D ;)
