Best group I've run through the game yet. I did more development with them than any other I've done.
Here's what I ended up with:
Sigir
Level 64 Barbarian (Level 16 Samurai, Level 14 Paladin, Level 3 Warrior). HP: 666 (spooky, ain't it? I almost wanted to get him up to Level 65 just to get rid of that one.) All stats at 24! (good use of Ankhs). Hit +36 Parry +10 Speed +21 Kills: 2767 Assists: 496 Special Items: Divine Chain of D'Soto The Mavin Sword Tomomari Katana (blessed up to 16-54) Assassin Dagger (blessed up to 15-60) Signet of the Mavin Gem of the Mountain Traits: Giant Strike, Iron Might, Fury, Sneak, Ancestral Guide, Noble Cause, Lethal Fist, Backstab, Doublestrike, Stunning Blow, Arm of Argus, Ancient Lore, Blacksmith, Cabalist, Occultist, Cloak of Night, Crusade, Deadfall, Dragon Fire, Evil Eye, Fury, Healer, Iron Lung, Ironmight, Merchant, Natural Leader, Quickspeak, Sneak, Tiger Strike __________________________________________
Daevi
20th level Zenmaster (58th level Bard, 13th level Ranger, 10th level Rogue). HP: 437 INT: 24 SPI: 18 WIL: 23 PRE: 24 STR: 22 DEX: 24 AGI: 24 FOR: 24 Hit +48 Parry +20 Speed +28 Kills: 1072 Assists: 667 Special Items: Gem of the Ocean Ardibren's Keepsake (yep, stole it back from the Wizard guy) Divine Sigil Wizard's Blade (blessed up to 20-74 damage) Staff of Death Lute of Tranquility Lute of Miracles Traits: Ironmight, Sneak, Hawk's Brow, Trickery, Berserk, Lethal Fist, Backstab, Enlightenment, Invincible Will, Doublestrike, Ancient Lore, Arcane Void, Cabalist, Occultist, Cloak of Night, Deadfall, Evil Eye, Fletchery, Healer, Iron Lung, Chi Master, Merchant, Musician, Natural Leader, Quickspeak, Tiger Strike __________________________________________________ ____
Kris
60th level Assassin (17th level Warlock, 11th level Wizard) HP: 461 INT: 20 SPI: 18 WIL: 19 PRE: 23 STR: 24 DEX: 20 AGI: 23 FOR: 22 Hit: +44 Parry +20 Speed +25 Kills: 1213 Assists: 419 Special Items: Amulet of Argus Plate of the Realm Ring of Neptune Tomomari Katana (blessed up to 18-60) Main Gauche +2 (blessed up to 15-43) Traits: Ironmight, Sneak, Backstab, Double Strike, Ancient Lore, Cabalist, Occultist, Merchant, Oath of Scrolls, Arcane Void, Cloak of Night, Lethal Fist, Tiger Strike, Natural Leader, Quickspeak, Iron Lung, Evil Eye _______________________________________________
Sylvia
18th level Valkyrie (58th level Paladin, 15th level Priest) HP: 379 INT: 20 SPI: 24 WIL: 22 PRE: 21 STR: 19 DEX: 23 AGI: 18 FOR: 18 Hit: +47 Parry +13 Speed +18 Kills: 755 Assists: 493 Special Items: Sword of Kerah Eye of Heaven (Amulet) Mace of Mangling (blessed up to 18-70) Wakizashi +2 (blessed up to 15-31) Traits: Ironmight, Noble Cause, Berserk, Double Strike, Ancient Lore, Occultist, Cabalist, Guardian Angel, Gravebind, Divine Aura, Arcane Void, Deadfall, Crusade, Evil Eye, Healer, Iron Lung, Natural Leader, Noble Cause, Quickspeak. ______________________________________________ Believe it or not, I did NOT use the Inn gold cheat. I did use the "resell items" trick, then waited until Daevi got the "Fletchery" trait and went to town on the Dragon Arrows. I did not use the "Toughen" trick. All HP's above were naturally derived (with some "quit and reload" assistance). The only NPC's I killed during the game were: Scabban, Raskalion, and Scanthril. I did NOT kill Erathsmedor, Oakenmir, the Sphinx, the Leprechaun, or any of the other top grossing XP NPC's. I DID use the "Jathil Quest" bug from time to time, as well as the "Leprechaun Quest" bug to level up characters..but only when they were "on the edge". I DID use the "Unlimited Scorpions" feature in the Shrine of Anephas a gazillion times. Fill the pit with scorpions, teleport out, firebomb them, jump back in, repeat. I DID the "climb the wall" trick at Brimloch Roon to get to the Isle of Sands prematurely to complete Sabastio's 2nd quest so I could get the 3rd Wizard's Guild quest. I DID use the "Summon Fiend" trick and pickpocket them for Ankhs. (How else could I get all stats 24 on Sigir?) A lot of my XP was by random wandering on the Isle of Sands and around the Lost Sea area. I started Brimloch Roon with my characters all at about level 17-20, which goes to show that the game really doesn't take off until you get to the last part. Well, I'm proud of them. Also, I wanted to show that one can finish with VERY high scores without killing NPC's and too much bug exploitation. It just makes it a bit difficult in the beginning. Cheers, Sazerac |

Those characters are worrying.
I would hate to see what would happen to the stat league tables if you ever did a 6man expedition, Sarevoc. Did any of your characters kill more than a 1000 enemies? Si. |
Si: take a look at Sigir's kill ratio. 2767 kills, 496 assists.
Most of those, however, were probably gold scorpions in the Shrine of Anephas. I probably killed about a thousand of those (easily!) -Sazerac Oh, I did run a 6-character party on my first go through. They finished up at around 25-30th level. O'course I didn't do everything and I didn't know about the Scorpion trick, so... "S" [This message has been edited by Sazerac (edited 04-03-2001).] |
Bumping up for the benefit of RudeDawg and Black Knight...
just to let you know, these were average rolled characters when I started out. This is what this game will let you do. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif And NO, you don't have to kill the big NPC's to do it!!!! -Sazerac |
**Looks at puny stats he has** Kids, we got a LOT of growing up to do . . . hey, is there an experience level cap? just curious. . .

BK: no exp. cap. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif You can get to level 200 or more if you want. (Generally only soloists do that.)
All the best XP is west of Brimloch Roon. Don't worry if you're only about 14 or 15th level by the time you get there. You'll start shooting up rapidly. -Sazerac |
