After getting her back, did anyone else dump her as soon as possible?
She just wasn't interesting to me anymore with such low skills and there arn't enough decent items to satisfy two mages anyway. I guess that after 3 chapters we'd just grown too far apart (xp wise) Anyone else have this opinion? [This message has been edited by Skunk (edited 09-15-2001).] |
Well, yeah, she is kinda under XP. But you can help her with that http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif I take her with me, because she's (I think) part off the story-line since I know she's a bhaalspawn too. Just help her faith a bit and get that XP as high as your own.

Next time you play going to the underdark sooner rather than later, aprt from the fact that if you have ToB you will get a lot more exp (the quests in amn are exp related, the more of it you have the garder the baddies are), but it also means that certain items like Crom Feyer become avalible for a larger perportion of the game. And of course Imoen is less behind on the exp lvl.

I will dump the little bitch... the only thing she does is complaining...

I dropped Imoen too, but I wonder about the storyline and scrpits with Imoen in my party. If I restart I'll go with her

Does anybody know if she really adds anything to the story after you get her back? And has anyone tried dropping her in Irenicus' dungeon at first?

Well, I love Imoen!!! both story-wise and party-wise!
I take her mainly coz she is part of the story, and in ToB, you won't regret you stayed with her http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif ------------------ http://members.aol.com/lasttrueprinc...ages/heart.gif Heya! It's just me, Bahamut! |

Weren't for the fact she is way behind in levels, I'd take her till the end of the game. She is an important part of the plot (btw, half the game is wasted on her rescue), but not that essential - you won't be stuck if you rescue her but not accept her in your party.
Imoen's thieving abilities are not that bad in SoA if you consider only find traps and open locks (the most important ones), but for backstabbing and pickpocketing she is terrible. As a mage, she would be one of the best if she hadn't been locked in Spellhold for so long. |
Imoen... is special... especially in ToB... http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif
