wot i want is to start a game in bg1 as a mage and complete bg1 and bg2 as this mage (he'll be like level 22? xp cap remover)
but because i already use a fighter, cavalier and fighter/thief, should i dual to a kensai for extra support? if so, wot stats do i need to aim for? |
You can't dual to Kensai, only from Kensai.

ah! ok....
would it be worth starting a char in bg2, as a level 8 kensai and then immediately dual to a level 1 mage and start bg1? or do u think a level 20 fighter and a level 14 cavalier and a level 9/11 fighter/thief could handle everything? |
You can't import BG2 characters to BG1, AFAIK.
Your fighters shouldn't have any trouble handling melee. |
remember when dualing a kensai make sure you are at a level divisible by 3. 9, 12 preferably.
|
Suggestion,
1) Play BG1 as a Fighter 2) Convert him into a Kensai when you import to BG2 3) Dual at level 13 to a Mage( level 9 if you do not have ToB) |
Why Lv.13 if he has ToB???
Does ToB do extra stuff? |

TOB raises the XP cap, so if you dual at 13 and have TOB, you can still hit the non-TOB XP Cap on just the mage side of things (and still go up a bit ) </font> |
can kensai's use
a) missile weapons? b) katana's? wot i think i'll do is level up a kensai to level 9 then dual straight to a mage. will he be able to use the celestial fury then? or should i leave that with my thief? and one last thing: does ur appearance change if u dual to a magE? |
