If one enters a new multiplayer game, press the A key. That is the IP of the host of the game. He who wants to join the game, must enter this number in the TCP/IP adress line.
Step by step what to do:
Host: in main screen, new game, multiplayer, start a new session, select character and difficulty level (note that anyone who joins must have the minimum level or he cannot join). When inside the game, press A, write down the number u get (including dots).
Guests: start new game, multiplayer game, join a session, tcp/ip, enter the number u have received from the host (including dots). CLick start (or join), u should get a list of games at that ip, select the one u want, u should enter the game now.
If u still can't get it to work this way it might be because of lag (this means that your connection between the 2 computers is too slow). To check this out: start a window in dos prompt: enter the line "ping ip#" for example "ping 220.130.4.190". The computer then checks your connection somewhere in the info u get back there is a number on how much data is lost. If u do lose some info darkstone will not be able to connect. The average ping also is indicated if this number is above 500ms, u might crash while playing.
Hope to be of help, reply if it still doesn't work.
