I am at the Gypsy boathouse, but I can't find the hidden floor to get to their treasure. Also, can you do anything with the Crystal Ball?

Did they give you the orb of clarity and their undying gratitude?

You can trade Herespia the Serpent Wand for the Orb of Clarity (A Wizards Guild quest to return the Orb)at which point she will open the secret door leading to their treasure.
I missed out on it and just killed her for it but heard later that there are some interesting articles to be obtained there.
