Im beggining to wonder about my little sisters pet rabbit... small, cute, fuzzy and exremley playful. until that is you let him out of his cage.
Yesterday hearleded the third time he's chewed through my modem cable, and the sixth or something (i've lost count)time he's eaten the phone one. Also, he's developed a great taste for new carpet, brand new leather couches and any any other form of live cable. Several times he's gone right through cables linked directly to the mains supply! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/noncgi/smiles/wow.gif So i ask: is he insane? suicidal? or just a normal rabbit? And as i type this he's looking at me quite sadly.....probably hungry....http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif ------------------ http://www.animfactory.com/animation...s/j_md_clr.gif |

Uh, Jerome, its relatively normal Rabbit behaviour, and is the main reason we never used to let our rabbit into the house. We built a fairly large run for it in the garden and just let it run around in there. The one time we did have a rabbit in the house it was christmas and it chewed through the wire for the christmas trees lights http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif.

WABBITS ARE EVIL!!! He knows that he can get away with it looking cute and cuddley and all.. Bite him back or plant a high voltage cable in your living room.. Hehe dinner is served.. Well done *wolfgrin* OKI, seriously, rabbit behaviour, they like to chew on everything, probably stress behaviour or something, make sure he gets to do a lot of things, unnywheel or whatever rabbits likes, or invite the neighbours dog to "play" with him for awhile.. Bunny jumping or something.. ------------------ http://wolfgir.najk.net/wolfie.gif Yawning lazywolf dreaming about nice little fairies...zzzzz Wolfgirs lair once-upon-a-paper |
Last time I bought a new PC - I got it delivered to my G/F's house - I'd got it all set up and then went home to get some games, leaving the rabbit running about...
Got back and it had chewed through my mouse cable http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/crap.gif Just how annoyed was I? |

Standard hare behavior, I swear.
I had a similar problem way back when. Chewed straight threw modem cables like a hot knife through buttah |
They chew on things to keep their teeth from growing too long. My wife had one when she was in college, that liked to chew the wallpaper; but then so doess my cat. Is she crazy?
