I swam back to the caves of the Oracles only to discover that one in the middle is missing... the ones on the left and right kept saying "Talk to my sister..."

did I miss something?

Once you acquire the Mask of Evil, the Oracle high tails it to only heaven knows where. I don't know if we'll ever see her again!

adam mage 01-11-2001 03:12 AM

why that little chicken!
I wonder what happens if I wear it to scare the town... booga booga!

Moni 01-11-2001 03:26 AM

LOL!!! Better hope it is not cursed! You are going to need it (and your cash) later!

Moni 01-11-2001 03:29 AM

BTW Adam,
I don't remember the Wand of Stars or what it may be used for...anyone?

Wondering too if I equip something cursed & get the item removed...is it still cursed?

adam mage 01-11-2001 03:36 AM

I haven't used the Wand of Stars except as a back scratcher

and yes it's still cursed unless you have someone who can take the curse off it for good (not including the church)

LOL

Thanks for the clue on the cursed items, I thought that is how it worked.

Well I hear my bed whispering "Moni...Moni! Clean sheets Moni! No cats up here either! C'mere Moni!"

Actually I noticed this and used old saves to check it.As soon as you have the signet of the Mavin and end you're conversation with the oracles the middle one disappears from before you're very eyes.I don't know why but it stops you coming back to them for advice, so drag that conversation out and cover all the available topics because it's the only chance you'll get.

Ahhhh, I must have been picking at the end of my sword or something, tired or repetitive redundency in the conversation , obviously not paying attention & missed that!
Thanks Dwarf!

well then.... good thing I covered most of the conversation!

Moni- instead of using the sword to pick your nails, I would recommend the knife it's easier

thought of another question: Long time ago, Back at the Pharoa's (bad spelling) room at the Crypt. I remembered that my cursor targeted on the urn....
why? was I supposed to do something to it? can't carry it nor destroy it....
Same goes for the Crystal Ball at the Nymph place....
