Prologue Quests--SPOILERS!!
 

My Prima guide mentions a "hungry deserter" quest in Ostagar. I never aquired such a quest, what did I miss?

I'm not sure if I found the cache you're supposed to find in the "last will and testament" quest in the Korcari Wilds. Is it the Chasind two-hander that you find in the camp? I don't think so though, because the will says the cache is buried.

Also, what's up with the "pile of rocks" quasi-puzzle you come across in the camp? Anyone figure it out?

The hungry deserter is in a cage.

The cache is under a campfire in the camp where you find a lot of darkspawn, but it's not at the bridge where you meet your first Emissary, it's before that, and there's a chest that has a journal, or some such about the chasind trail signs. Note that if you don't have the will, it won't show up.

The pile of rocks requires you to loot a corpse just after you cross the bridge with the Emissary. If you loot that corpse, the quest will fire when you "use" the rocks. I would suggest a quick save prior, just in case.
