Actually in posting on this very same subject with another in your same situation the question arose "Just how important is it to talk to the Kerah statue?" I believe when you talk to her she tells you some things about the history/story and there is of course some treasure to be had as well. I'm not sure that either of these are critical to the game.
Regis can probably quote Kerah's speech (he's gifted that way!) so maybe if he reads this he will.
Otherwise, rather than being stuck stuck stuck... you might just play on.

Wyvern had a good idea! I was not given the key of heretic from kol, and now he disappeared! so I am in deepest need of someone with a party that has the heretic key. In that way, I could walk it to Valeia and give the key to a member of my own party... if this works!
