I have a great idea for a dwarf in NWN with sou and HoTU, and I want to eventually have a dwarf with a dwarven waraxe and a shield. Is their anyway to get a waraxe before Hotu? Preferably in the original NWN areas? I would hate to have to blow a weapon focus on something else, then when I get to HoTU get the Dwarven waraxe focus!

Will I have to do scripting and hak to get it in?
I have taken the exotic weapon feat and focus in waraxe, but the random chest in the devourer lair that always gives me +1 in whatever weapon I've focused in insists on giving me a +1 longsword. I have not yet reached another "known" weapon spawning chest, but I know there are a few.
Maybe through item creation feats (do they work in Neverwinter Ch. 1?). As I said before,I have SoU and HoTU installed but have only actually gotten as far as Ch. 3 in original NWN. (not with the dwarf character I am speaking of)

You could import a character with a waraxe in the game on the nest chapter. Further I don't know if edting the NWN OC files will corrupt them or the save game but you could try adding a waraxe via the toolset.

You don't need to hak or script, the waraxe isn't in because the NWN OC was made only with NWN original stuff

No problems anymore. I can start a dwarf in hotu at lv. 15 import to NWN, play until i'm about lv. 18-20 and then import back into hotu. Then I have a dwarven fighter at a good level to start with in Hotu.
