Do i have to solve the murders? or is it something esle..please help I have to go eat!

There are a number of things that can keep you from being able to save, can you give us a little more imfo?

Well i am on the second step of Aaran's quests and I have never been to the bridge district before and heard about the murders and I also ran into that red dressed guy and killed one of the guys he was with in the house and rescued the girl ...what conditions would make it that i can't save HELP

Leave the area so it autosaves, quit the game, go back in and you should be able to save. If not, there's someone on the map trying to talk to you (like when you ditch a party member).

The guy with the red cloth is not involved with the Bridge murders, he's involved in the Buried Alive quest in the Graveyard. One of the most annoying unable to saves I had was when I had cast Summon Undead, and Animal Summoning 3. I had exited a structure and of course the summoned remained inside. A skeleton and and a Winter wolf decided to fight it out. Neither one could harm the other and I couldn't get back in, barred from other side. I had to wait for them to be unsummoned before I could save because they were fighting.

Possible Spoiler Read at your own risk: you get the clue to accuse the tanner by talking to a beggar somewhere northeast (just look for a beggar that has a name) and then talk to a protitute in the merchants square...im sure you can do the rest. *ps look at the seller who buys* he is the tanner
