I'm doing a paper in political science this week, and the idea is to compare how democratic and authoritarian states hold public officials accountable for any maladministration. Now, I have plenty of information on how democracies do it, but not on how authoritarian states does it.
My question is thus: does anyone have any links to information on how these less democratic states chooses to review their public officials? Just some general info. Thanks! Edit: I'm interrested both in the accountability downwards to the public (if such one even exist), and upwards to the ruling elite. [ 11-23-2004, 02:32 PM: Message edited by: Stratos ] |
Hey Stratos, any luck finding that info yet?

Yes, I've actually found some.
It's a bit of a strange source, a review article, but it'll have to make do. I just need one or to references anyway. |
