I just beat my mile run time by 1 minute and 30 seconds, obtaining a 6:26 minute time. I didn't do as well as I could have (had a X country meet yesterday, forgot to stretch down), but still, it's a PR. Anyone else have something pleasent and athletically minded they did today (or ever)?

I didn't really move today, so, "no." :D

I dropped my mile & a half time from 9:15 to 8:20, almost a minute off.

Sometimes I just surprise myself

My best time was near 5:50 about 4 years ago - I'd be lucky now to pull off 7 (edit: not that I'm not in shape, I just don't enjoy running much anymore).

Nice job! Over a minute improvement pretty much kicks butt.

My PR for a mile is 5:06. Too bad that was over 10 years ago...but I ran 4 miles in 28 the other day on my lunch break.

Hmm... I guess my mile time would be some 7:20 minutes. Or something close to that. I'm not athletic so...

With that type of drop in time I wouldn't be surprised if you drop another 30 to 45 seconds off your time. When I first started running my progress was like that. Congrats on a good race.

How much is a mile in kilometres? My fastest time for 4.2 km is 18 minutes but I think normally I'm arounf 19-20 minutes.

Haven't done much athletically today or yesterday. Well at least for training (goalie) hockey but I think I still have troubles with the pneumonia I had a few years ago. Just seems I lost how do you call it, breathing volume (?). But I can still compensate by just going on and not thinking of stopping luckily

1 mile = 1.609 kilometers

The 1.5 time I gave (it's the PRT standard) is 2.4135 kilometers.

Nice link! 4.2 km is 2.6 miles
