I have the Collector's BG2: Shadows of Amn and also Throne of Bhaal. Both installed without trouble. There are supposed to be two extra merchants of special magic items: Deidre at Ribald's, and Joluv at the Copper Coronet. I have seen Deidre and even bought from her. But I can't find Joluv even though I have searched the Copper Coronet from stem to stern several times. Is there some trick to meeting Joluv? Does he show up later in the game? Just where and when is he supposed to be? I am still in Ch.2 with several quests to go, and I would really like to get the Sling of Everard +5. Can anyone help me?

He's standing right in the middle of the Copper coronet, near the fire thingy, he looks just like a commoner, a little hard to spot, try talking to everyone in there, he's got to be one of them!

I found Joluv later in the second half of the game after
I had returned from the underdark and I have never tried
to find him befor that.Aelia Jusa is right you can find him
around the fire pit in the center of the room just ask around
and if you don't locate Joluv now he will be there later

A mechant is added if you install TOB? That didn't happened to me.

I thought that this merchant only appeared if you had the pre-order CD. Is that right?

I dont have ToB and I didnt have both of them until I installed extra patch. I believe they are in that collector edition only.
