I want to know everything, like his thaco, hits per attack, proficienses etc.
And how do you remove the XP-cap?</font>

Doesn't it have that stuff in the back of the game guide book? You know, the one you get with SoA? I don't have it on me at present but try looking at those tables. They might be of help.

At level 14 a Kensai has a Base THAC0 of 7, same as any other fighter. However their kit bonuses add to +4 to hit and damage. Add strength, proficiency and weapon bonuses to find final THAC0, eg Str 19, Master in Katanas weilding Celestial Fury will have (7-4-3-2-3)= -5 THAC0.

All fighters gain their extra 1/2 attack at level 13, so the kensai will have 2 attacks natural + 1/2 attack specialist proficiency, 5/2.

Are you asking to compare with your Kensai, or are you wanting to know when to dual him? Level 13 is better to dual a Kensai than 14.

Katanas and longswords are best to be proficient in. Some like Scimitars as well for Belm (+1 attack) or Warhammers for Crom Faeyr (25 Str). Another way to go would be two handed weapons, swords, quarterstaves, halberds and spears (good in ToB), but choose one of these, not both. Also dont bother going to Grandmastery, the benefits over plain 3 star Mastery are a -1 to speed and +1 to damage. Not worth it.

I have read of another way to remove the XP cap- go into the .ini file (BACK UP FIRST!!) and look for somthing saying "xpcap=..."
Change the 'x' to another character (say c) and now u will have no XP Cap but rather a CP cap!! and i dont think cp even exists!

I don't have ToB yet, have to buy it. Since it's not on sale here (small country, no sellers bothered to get it as it seems) I need to get it from US. Extra time..

But meanwhile my fighter (human berserker) hit lvl 19 and his XP froze at 2950000. Now, we cannot allow that to be so, can we? So I went to URL what every self respecting BG player must have :D - which is good ole Baldurash page and got from there the XP cap remover. It works up to lvl 40. Also I got the GrandMastery patch, because it IS worth to be a Grandmaster. So currently my berserker is lvl 21, 3 stars in Two Weapon Style; 5 stars in Longswords and 3 (I think it was 3, or 2? Nah 3 I think) in Katanas. In main hand he has Celestial Fury and in off-hand the Sword of Baldur (additional Magic Resistance never hurt anyone ya know).

That's about the XP cap and GrandMastery. As for kensai, then need yet to try it. I didn't like some of the restrictions, since I just look darn good in all the snazzy armor and stuff...

I couldn't go over lvl 13/13 as a fighter/mage is the XP-cap the reason for this?
