After I found the kidnappers, I told the held woman that I would collect the ransom. I went to the Slums, but I didn't talk to her husband, because I knew I'd lose reputation etc. I did, however, pickpocket the pantaloons from him, and then went back to release her.
Now, whenever I go to the Slums, I see Welther (that was her husband, right?) in front of the Copper Corronet. He just keeps leaving. I mean, I try to talk to him, but he 'seems busy'. He keeps walking towards the door of the Copper Coronet, disappears, and then reappears again, and the same thing all over again... Did anyone else notice this? It's not like it bothers me, and it doesn't interfere with the game or anything, I just think it looks silly. Oh, and yes, I have the newest patch installed. :D :D :D |
Happened to me, I didnt make much of it really, he does it when you take the pantaloons too.

If I already let the hostage free, will he not show up?
|
I think not but its no real huge loss anyway.
|
I had the same after I had first told the woman I'd keep her hostage, and then later on set her free.
|
If I let the woman free, can I still meet the men with the pantaloons?
|
If you don´t like him walking around, just blow his ass!
No one will miss him too much! |
I must ask a question about the pantaloons.
If you want the Big Metal Unit you must import a char from BG1 with one of the pantaloons? Or do I have totallt wrong? |
Yes, the only way to get the gold pantalon is from an immported character from baldur's gate I, unless you use shadowkeeper or a cheat.
