GameSpy killed the NWN servers... now NWN is screwed.
 

Unless Gamespy turns the servers back on, it looks like the internal matching system for NWN1 is gone forever. Which is sad.... NWN1 was amazing..

At first I thought it was a glitch.

Then I checked and found out that a new company had taken over and seemed to want more money to keep NWN 1 running on the Gamespy servers.

Fortunately it is still possible to connect directly if you have the server number for the module host.

Nevertheless, still a sad time.

MORE money? Don't all these people understand how bad the economy is currently? Hell, I'd run the server if I had the bandwidth.. (it has to ping EVERY NWN server every 5 seconds, and that adds up) but man, I hope someone helps get it back up.

NWN is still too good of a game to kill multiplayer.. :( Maybe Kali lists them? remember Kali? It came WAY before quakeSpy (which then rename themselves to gameSpy)...

I used to use it to play Descent 1 and 2 WAAAAY back in the early 90's.. :D

Yes. Money is always the problem.

Still. it is always good to get back into Undermountain when I have the oportunity.

And I still can't make a Monk in local vault that can survive all the levels.
