It's a great webcomic, based on characters in the 3.5 edition D&D world, who know the rules. Really funny stuff. |
I have, for the past several months, ever since we had that webcomic thread. I think Bozos of Bones mentioned it. It really is awesome. I got On the Origin of PCs too.

Yeah, I've followed it for maybe a year. It's great! Also look for Battle Of Gobwin Knob! :D

Never heard of it 'til now. I just spent about 4 hours reading while I should've been working. People were looking at me funny when I started laughing at #29. It reminded me of friend of mine who always walked away with a *little* bit more than his share of loot, but he was always ready with an explanation...

On the Origin of PCs is an Order of the Stick prequel, basically - what each of the characters was doing before the online action begins. It's offline only, but it'll only run about $16 for a good 80 pages of OOTS goodness.
There's another one coming out about Xykon, Redcloak, and the monster in the shadows, called Start of Darkness. Same deal. I like Gobwin Knob, but not as much as OOTS - mainly because it's making fun of one of my favorite genres...games like Age of Wonders. |
Man I totally forgot about OOTS. Just spent a good fwe hours reading from around 200 to 459.
Thog makes me laugh :D |

Can anyone explain this? What's with a person dying at -10 and not 0 HP? Is that some 3.5 rule? |
|
hmmm... checked my players handbook and that's what it says too. Guess I shouldn't be using NWN and IWD2 as the source of my dnd rules knowledge.
