I found that with my main mage casting a couple of AOE spells all the adds went down fast and after that it was a 4 on 1 fight which went pretty quickly after that. Of course the mage didnt last much longer....

LOL! Well, mine just went with them quietly... but hey, she got to have fun in the side quest and ended up Queen of Ferelden, so it worked out alright for her! :D
