Hello again. I have found Talrik and given him the hook then talked to him. He asked for the longtooth hide so I went to skull island and got it for him but when I went back and tried to give it to him it said Talrik doesnt take it. So what I am wondering is if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks
Xarsha

Chances are that Talrik´s inventory is full at the moment. Try buying something from him or perhaps to pickpocket something. Save before pick-pocketing though. ;)

I do recall having heard of this problem before although I have never encountered it myself - even after having given three or four hooks to Talrik which should be more than enough to fill out his inventory. I do however recall having to USE some items on people instead of giving them to them. If the purchase/pickpocket solution does not bring you anything then you might try using the hide on him.

Great. This inventory thing seems to be a bug since it is not a constant feature. Imanaged to bypass this by a reload once. Interesting to say the least. ;)

The inventory thing revolves around the fact that Talrik has an inventory storage area just like you, I suspect. And since a hide is four squares (two by two), he must have a 2x2 area to accept it. If he has a smaller or fragmented area, no go.

Hence, if you buy or pickpocket something, get something that's large and takes up a lot of squares. That way, you'll probably only have to do it once.

Leastways, that's how I think of it.
