Hear'dalise is a tiefling right! Well a tiefling is half HUMAN half DEMON right! Well how come Haer'dalise looks like an elf and has a portrait of an elf huh!?! And also i heard you could be a Tiefling as your race HOW??

shadowkeeper permits you to be a tiefling, yes it does look like an elf not all demons look like u think so in the game
