I'm in a pensive mood tonight...

Though you may train
In this swordwork or in that,
What will it mean
Unless you do your utmost.

- Morihei Ueshiba

Commitment does seem to be a pretty important element in personal success.

Have you really succeeded if you could have done better?

Pensive is good sometimes... I like to write things when I am in a pensive mood, and although it is not always that enjoyable at the time, I often look back in beweilderment, at something positively astonishing that I have written.

Interesting Memnoch, I never quite thought of it like that...

One day I might post one of my twisted stories on this board, but I don't want to scare people.

"Perhaps it is best that I warn you I am not a particularly nice person." Stated the unsightly criminal, as he ate a large mushroom from a flat brown plate.
"That is not a concern of mine at this stage, I merely wish to employ a number of your estranged services." Said the man, whose voice was distorted by the phone in which he spoke.
The debatably rotund criminal, was listening intently, as a large ball of spaghetti was placed in front of him. It rested placidly upon his dirty brown plate, and he eyed it suspiciously.
"Do you ever eat spaghetti?" asked the man in the green hat.
"As a matter of fact I don't, thankyou very much!" With that, the man in the green hat wrote some undecipherable characters on his note board, and left never to be seen again.
The undesirably unsightly criminal paused only briefly, and scarcely wondered why his eating habits had just been questioned by a man in a green hat. Had he been hallucinating? Did the man even exist?
He thought little of the matter, and soon returned to the task of outsmarting the man on the end of the phone. He was being prompted out of retirement. He had the life of his five year old boy to consider. His renegade child was living off the streets, and would benefit much from a small bonus to his non-existent income.

-------
This exert was taken from the federal government's Jail-house recordings. It boasts significant proof that the Australian government performed a top secret investigation into the popularity of Spaghetti in the jails of Victoria. Many have suspected this, but until now, few have had sufficient proof.

Apparently, I am determined to end the inevitable boredom, which one tends to obtain on a lonely friday night. My apologies to anyone who does not appreciate my good-natured, if not misguided humour.

I decided it was time to scare you all! lol

It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear ignorant,
than open it and remove all doubt!

http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/puke.gif Hey , I warned you...

Isn't it interesting how a word, or a phrase, or an image can inspire emotions?
Think of words like : candy, cloud, live, joy.
or : rape, war, death, fear.

Be careful of words. They hold magic....
