I have a fighter who's EXP is maxed and I want to dual-class him to a druid. If I dual-class him can I get EXP in the druid class or will he stay as a level one druid because i've reached the EXP limit in the fighter class. Any help would be appreciated.

That is it the limit is the limit, at least for BG2.

I believe you start at 0 experience when you dual to another class. That's what happened with me, anyway.

well yes, you'll start at 0 experience but you wont be able to gain anymore because you've already reached the exp cap
