Well?

It lets you edit the stats of your characters, their names, their colors, their portraits, the inventory, thier thieving skills and thier global area affects(the things that tell your character what to do, romances etc.) Ultimately makeing a great game turn into one of the most boring when you make super fighter, though it can help if you want to roleplay...

Yes, like when you forget an item or drop one or kill someone thinking they are usless (reminds me of you Aragorn1. Completely useless!) but actually they are important(nothing like you Aragorn1).

It also has an item list, spell list and creature list, so you can look up the codes if you lose a game-critical item.
I normally use it only when that sort of thing happens, or when I want to put my rep slightly lower, or check whether my romance is still going ok. It's also useful for people who are new to the game and accidentally picked weapon proficiencies they don't like or sorceror spells that they never use.

I'd say download it and you can see for yourself
Shadowkeeper

Of course, it is possible to ruin the gaming experience by giving all your characters 25 in all stats and two rings of Gaxx each, but why would you want to do that? ;) LOL
Seriously though, if you decide to edit one of your games, Shadowkeeper automatically asks you if you want to save the game under a different title. Do so ALWAYS, as too much fiddling around will crash your edited game on load and you'll be glad when you still have the original then.

I consider Shadow Keeper a must-have for anyone who is seriously playing through BGII. use it as you will, cheating or just minor adjustments, but you should definitely download it, without a doubt. always good to have...

I do not have Shadowkeeper, never have, never will. Does this that, *gasp!*, I am not taking BG2 seriously? Rightttt... ...
