Hi sgtzack!

Congrats on winning!!!!
And more congrats on replaying the game too! :D

A lot of the regulars here have played the game many (MANY) times and have probably done various group combinations. I'm really amazed at how creative they've been. My own games were not as adventurous in party combinations but I'm sure that others will be happy to share their interesting combinations.

Congrats on your first completion of the game, first of all It was apparently enjoyable, since you want to do it again.

There are a couple of paths you can take for your next game...

</font>
 • Use those neat new classes you just got (zenmaster and valkyrie</font>
 • Take a solo character through (the Z or V, or a new one)</font>
 • Try all characters of one class (war party, den of thieves, wizard college, etc.)</font>
 • Make bizarre combinations (pixie fighter, oomphaz rogue, etc.)</font>
 • Try minimizing your class changes (say, one allowed per character)</font>
 • Set up a Lord of the Rings part</font>
You can also get really challenging...

</font>
 • Don't use any equipment (armor, rings, weapons, etc.)</font>
 • Only use cursed equipment</font>
Those are a few of the things that have been talked about before. I've done a couple of them, but not all.

But the best thing about it... there's no wrong way to play! So get out there and try something new! You never know what you might find... :D

Thanks! And my apologies for not realizing that you'd already completed the game twice... it gets better every time, doesn't it? :D

There are some creatures that you can't kill if you don't use equipment, B. Fists won't kill all things (the creatures that require a +_ to hit.

Good point, Lord. At this point, I can only think of Cet and Anephas as creatures who require special weapons; is there someone I'm forgetting?

In any case, carry a sword just in case you need it :D

One of the hints given in the Valeia tavern is, that only enchanted steel will inflict damage on ghosts and spectres. And so far as I remember enchanted weapons are the only ones low level parties can use to hit Rumphy and the tainted spectres in the crypt. I have never tried killing them with a high level party using non-enchanted weapons, so it could be that most spectres require enchanted weapons to take damage.

Good point. I know that Rumphy, at least, is susceptible to shock... and lightning bolt :D

Despite the hint, this is not true. None of my party members had an enchanted weapon until after Castle Shurugeon. They could hit & kill the various Spirits, Spectres, Banshees and Rumpy himself with simple Bastard Swords and Rapiers.
