I think i'v come across a problem with 1 of the quests for wizards; to retrieve the orb of clarity from the gypsies. And the problem's that i'v killed them "long" while ago!

i remember taking an orb of clarity from the head gypsy... and i do remember selling it to the armory guy at valeia... hmm... but its not there any more...

so... any help would'd appericiated... should i have gotten the quest in the first place... or maybe i shouldn't have killed thoses gypsies ...

Check the other shops - maybe you sold it to one of the others. Things you sell don't disappear from the shop. Remember to not only check the "normal" shop, but the "guild" shop. Should be there.

BUT, should you still not locate it, you're not in any serious difficulty. You'll get new quests in the next town and you will still be able to max out on guild levels.

Other option would be to reload a saved game or consider starting over with the party you've already made - that sounds drastic but does have some advantages. You're party will keep almost everything they have (except quest items) as well as their experience/spells/etc. And the whole first section is a lot easier to do the second time through.

So, find the orb in the shop, reload a saved game, reset adventures, or continue on because missing this quest isn't that big a deal. Your choice!

Hope that helps!

Well I think he was or is nice fellow...

Have he done something to you, or why such aggression...

Olli,
Sabastio is the most verbous & boring charactor in the game.

Olli Kalma 01-30-2003 03:14 AM

Oh, well... I liked him...

Think there's something wrong with me...
Or he just has Charmed me with some kind of diabolical spell...

Damn that Sebastio!!!!

NO! I think he is the most kind men on the Gaeal Serran...
I don't let you guys harm him!...

Sebastio... thirty minutes to say hello... 45 minutes to explain he wants a job done.... an hour to berate you for not completing it yet...

Folks have been known to walk their characters into the wizard's guild, let Sebastio start talking, step out for a cup of coffee, and come back in just as he's finishing up. Daggers and shortblades must be checked at the door before entering; it's really cut down on the suicide rate.

LOL!!!

Sebastio is a "running"* joke with those of us who have played W&W more than a couple of times. (*running off at the mouth, that is) Of all the guild masters, he has the most to say and takes the longest to give you a quest (which you have to listen to for each character who wants the quest and generally by the time I have reached him, I want all my characters to get the quest - yikes!). Ages ago, one of our posters did figure out a way to shorten his speeches (that might be worth searching out and adding to the Best Tips thread).

There is no way that we can harm Sebastio but that does not mean we haven't been tempted!

it's true wat, whenever Sebastio talks to you, you can really age 30 game years before he finally finishes his quest-giving to all of ur characters.
imagine him talking the same Mada Mabbig (wat was the spelling again?) quest to ALL SIX CHARACTERS!!!
