I keep hearing people refer to items on the bonus CD.

What Bonus CD are they talking about ?

It's a CHEAT that adds POWERFULLLLL weapons to the stores....

It is not a cheat. The bonus CD is an extra CD that came out with the limited edition collector's edition of BG2. However, the files that were on that CD are available for download into your installed game. You can download them at http://www.bgdungeon.com and maybe here, but I'm not sure...

The files install three new merchants in the game (I believe that 1 is in the Copper Coronet and 2 are in the Adventurer's Mart). They sell items from Icewind Dale and Planescape:Torment. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...es/biggrin.gif

The bonus CD is not a cheat,it's a patch that fixes some bugs in the game and also adds 2 new merchants in the game.

The items are definately worth the download IMHO

Some of them are pretty useful, a bit too expensive to get "legitly". And it is not a cheat, it is suppose to be a marketing tool/incentive for you to pre-order the game back in last September.
