1. Why on earth do stupid NPCs send you on errands and then not acknowledge you've completed them??? Darn Talrik keeps muttering on aimlessly asking whether I've found the treasure. I show it to him, give it to him, talk to him about it and he just keeps muttering. Methinks it would be best for the gene pool if I just sliced him to little bitty bits now. Arrrgh.

2. In Collasium, how do you get to the treasure chest in Vemoura's area? (Man, did she turn ugly). I didn't see a switch anywhere - did I just miss it?

3. Third question - HELP!!!! I threw away the stupid No Dachi I was supposed to look for, and I can't remember where even if it was still there. Can I 'find' it again after receiving the quest again for a new character, or is it lost forever???

Thanks http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif

The chest behind a grate in Collasium? There will be another path that will lead you there.

: )
Moni

Can't help you with the No Dachi question, sorry!

Either stuff a sock in Talrik's mouth or whack the old man! The choice is yours! Save him if you think you might want to be delivering more hooks later!

I am a newbie in the game, so I don't know who is Talrik. Nevertheless, I have found that you can lose quests if you take more than one quest from a given questgiver at a given time. Example: I took a role progression quest (Paladin) and a guild progression quest (Mon the Sculz) in the Weaponry. I killed Mon the Sculz. I was repeatedly informed where to go if I wanted to be a Paladin, that's all. Well, I completed the Paladin quest and was promoted. Returning to the Weaponry, I got: "What can I do for ya?"
The quest was lost. Reset adventures and try again. Now I took the Paladin quest and completed it. Okay. I took the Mon the Sculz quest and completed it. Okay.
Perhaps, a similar game bug is related somehow to your problem.

catzenpewters -

Perhaps the designers originally intended for such quests to be acknowledge but just ran out of development time - we'll never know for sure.

As for the No-Dachi - if you can't find it, email me a zipped copy of your gamexx.sav (no other files). Hopefully, I have the code somewhere and will be able to get you a replacement! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif

1. indeed
2. like Moni said. You have to dive into a vertical shaft to get there. Look for precise maps at www.volberding.com
3. I'm afraid the No Dachi will be gone, even if you could find the place you left it. Only items vital to the main quest are preserved, and (since the patch) the Colanth eye.

Radek: you get the story about paladin-hood, but after that whole story is finished, he should also check if you've finished the Mon the Schulz quest. If you don't have the patch installed, and walk out before the guild master finished talking, you might very well miss the reward. With the patch I've never lost quests, even when I did have several at the same time.
