Yes, there is a Magic Shoppe, (Wizard's Guild) in each of the three cities/towns. There is also a Temple and a Warriors Guild too.

As the manual says there is no Thieves Guild or Bushi Dojo in the first town, that of course impacts upon role ascension.

There is... the tower on the left.

However, if you're running on a more modern operating system than Win 98, you may not be able to access it unless you utilize VirtualDub to decompress the video files. Check the Tech Tips thread for details...
