Hey - am considering reinstalling and going to patch 001b to have pickpocketing actually work, have always played games with the latest patch but want to PP.

2 questions. First, is that the right one to apply, or should I only take patch 001?

Second, if I run into any bugs while I'm playing on the old patch that the latest patch fixes, will applying it later on fix the bug with saved games I played under the earlier patch? For example, say Sgt. Rubble vanishes, would I be screwed or could I just go to the latest patch and have the game where he dissapears get fixed?

Well, the first time I played through, the game was unpatched until the endgame. Then I installed the Ascension Peak only patch (the first one released). That is mandatory. You can't finish without at least that one.

I had no problems of any kind with the unpatched game. And yeah, pickpocket works much better with either unpatched or AP patch only.

So I'd say, if you want to do pickpocketing, get hold if you can of the AP-only patch.

Can someone post a URL where the AP patch is available? I have the full patch from the official site, but would like to use just the 100b patch.
