The games gives us 15 slots to make characters, but only allows 6 to be used at a time. Does anyone use more then their first six characters throughout the game? If so, for what?

I use two extra characters for storage:
one for armor and weapons, one for money,
potions, etc. Keeps my core six fairly light
and seems to work well.

now why did I not think of that, as well as bemoaning the lack of a rest command to aviod the night and the lack of a compass I also thought why cant I have somewere to store all this stuff I know I will need but dont want to carry. Well one problem soved any ideas on the other two.
