Well ive been looking around for some switches in the elevator rooms but i cant find diddly im guessing i missed something in the upper lvl?? if so i will have to load a saved game and lose 10 hours of game play i know there is 4 elevator rooms but i cant get into the southwestern one were the switch is anyone know what i missed??

This is such a difficult area to even try to give you help, but I'll give it a stab!
It seems to me that to get to the SW most room you need to keep going (i.e.) taking the furtherest most exit away from what where you really want to go. You want to get west so go east. You want to get south so go north. Last time I ran through this area (I've played that section twice now) I applied something like that reverse logic and made it through in a fraction of the time my first play through.
Hope that helps - I'm still waiting for my strategy guide to arrive so I can find out all the things I missed along the way. Then I could give some really precise directions.

The 4th elevator room is accessed from the eastern elevator of the south eastern room. Good luck with the Priestess.
