I need assistance locating the gauntlets of Orge Power. I have the Girdle of Frost Giant Strength and know where I can find Hammer of Thunderbolts, but need gauntlets for making a weapon of greater power.

Hi backupfile! Welcome to Ironworks

The gauntlets are in the planar sphere, on a halfling.

Crom Faer, you also need the Crom Faer-scroll, located on the shadowdragon in the temple ruins.

Thanks for the advice. Now that I have all three parts and the scroll, I have a thought. Are the three of greater value used as found or better as a single weapon? As is, they can be used by three NPC in two areas of strenght (21 and 18/00) and one +2 weapon.

Well, in the capable hands of the most annoying cleric in human history, Anomen, Crom Fayr is a formidable weapon, he has 3 attacks at THACO -8 now! Without tinkering! And with 25 strength...it kicks Troll butt!

Well it depends. There are about two other strength items, and more in ToB. So you probably won't need the gauntlets and girdle by the time you can make it. Though I don't think the Crom Frayr is really useful unless you're dual wielding it, cause it doesn't do any extra damage which makes it unable to kill some things, but dual wielding it improves your offhand thaco heaps, with the strength modifier.

Yeah Crom Faer is a must have. If you decide to commission the dwarf for the work you won't regret it.
