What are, in your opinion, the 5 best albums ever recorded...
For me it would be (in no particular order)...
The Smiths - The queen is dead
Al Stewart - Past present and future
Kate Bush - The kick inside
Tom Waits - Rain dogs
Pete Atkin - Driving through mythical america

None of those are in my top 5 dirty meg but they are great albums, though I have not heard Al Stewart - Past present and future.

just my opinion that any list of greatist albums should have any album newer than 5 years old banned, Albums should have to stand the test of time and fashion before being named a classic IMO.

Beatles.... White
Guns and roses ... appatite for destruction
Genisis .... seconds out

*note these are all true vynal albums not cd's or greatist hits collections and is subject to change at any moment as the mood strikes* :D
