Everyone that has reported the bugs and errors is helping out a LOT! And Since I'm a human (not an Elf) I am prone to make errors too! This thread is for anyone that sees or finds any errors/mistakes/bugs/spelling errors to post!!

OK first one of the new module ...

Level 13 near the entrance from 12, campfire slope. there is a nice green plant called a wooden weapon rack!

The teleporter stones are indeed only one square now, but they still weigh in the same 5.5 lbs. Also, while not the fault of the update, the server isn't resetting, or wasn't as of about 9 am CST.

Edit: Portraits are missing for the Poisonous Dead, and Skeletal Dwarves on lvl 4, just after you fight the Frost Giants, and are getting ready to head down to lvl 5. Kudos as well, on the secret door, that seems to work much better now.

There's a bush in the Lizard King's hut on lvl 10 that says it's a barrel. I was killing the lizard king when I saw it, and my char is true neutral... [img]graemlins/heee.gif[/img]

I'm not sure if this is a bug.

It's just that if I use crafting to add a robe to the "samurai" style dwarven enhanced armour and then craft again to remove the robe (Hey. I just like mucking about) then the armour seems to default to a "European" style.

As I say, no problem but It is a shame to lose the samurai stuff.

The Samurai robe is a custom robe. Once you craft it out, it's gone. I posted about this in one of the crafting threads.

On level 12, would it be possible to get the stone from the cabinet that has the dwarven armor?
On lvl 10, there is an area by the lizard encampment main gate ( specifically the left side of the gate) that if you step in the wrong spot you will get stuck and can't move.
On level 3 there are 2 bushes that are barrels. One is by the tree by the first teleporter and the other is on the way to the xanther quest.
Also I just noticed when you look at the map on level 3 where it lists the teleporters it lists them going to level 10 , 11 and 12.

Miltiades, however it's spelled, is stuck in some kind of heartbeat loop, repeating a line of dialog whether anyone talks to him or not. When it fires, it can kick you out of Durnan's stores, and it's going to cause more lag in the tavern. His normal dialogs are missing as well.

Awesome, I fixed all those bugs! Check em out.

And the new drop on lvl 12 adds a new boss-like guy where HE drops the stone scepter now. [img]smile.gif[/img] Upgraded some items in that area as well.

I updated Miltiades too--see if he is fixed. If you threaten him, he will ignore ya now. He will now buff you with spells like bless, and such.

Also fixed Miltiades broken [taunt] and [persuade] lines. -- Just a warning, start putting points into bluff, taunt and persuade and other conversation skills, as I will be adding many new lines of dialogue to current (and new) NPC's for new aspects of the game.

A small one I just noticed.

Directly North of Khelben's tower in Waterdeep docks there is a line of three crates.

They all open but two of them are embedded in a wall.

This may be my PC which I admit I do need to replace or upgrade.

Twice today I tried the "shipment area" in the South-East of level 14. Both times it looked as if I had crashed out of the game but after a second or two the action came back up and then the screen locked and my PC crashed.

I have nothing like this problem anywhere else in Undermountain.

That's a walkmesh issue Grey, no worries. I'll see if I can reshape it to get rid of the hiccup.
Sucks for a tileset that looks cool to have walkmesh issues.

Fighting a Greater Aboleth, which for the record really and truly creeped me out.


3. Describe the error/bug/mistake:
Tried to fight an Elder Eye Tyrant. Turns out it was completely invisible and untouchable until it tried to bite me. This kind of error has happened before with other creatures. Now, the Elder Eye Tyrant stayed "invisible" during the entire encounter, even though my character was eventually able to "find" it and slay it. Maybe something was wrong with the animations for the Elder Eye Tyrant.


4. Is your character good or evil?
Lawful Neutral I believe. (Gaki No Dachi)

Was just in Skullport. Map seemed to load properly, same amount of lag as usual ;) . But when I was finished with the merchant (Marta) and tried to go on to lvl 4, all exits to Skullport were gone, black corridors of nothingness. Couldn't even get to the hall that leads to Ben; it wasn't there. I also noticed the Hammerfell merchant disappeared.

Similar thing happened to me on Level Two. It just seemed that the server quit on us both while we were still moving. Sort of like a sluggish death. As I was going through Level Two through the southeast corner entrance, I faced off against a few Gelatinous Cubes (to be expected where I arrived). Where the corridor leads down to the six kobolds (southeast corner of the Level Two map), nothing showed up. I had to use my arrow keys to keep moving, although the entire area I was in was blacked out as if I had not crossed through there. The server eventually timed out completely and kicked me off. Weirdest error I have experienced to date, bar none.

You have experienced a lag out crash. The server was severely lagged out, and then crashed.

The secret stone door by the sleepy lizard's quarters in Skullport - I've tried with multiple characters to use it to no avail. Does it no longer work?

That secret door is gone now. All it did was link to the waterdeep sewers. I have other plans for the sewers [img]smile.gif[/img]

Remember? It was the short cut to skullport? Now you use the teleporter on level 1.

Over the past few days, I have been noticing freezing animations within the Trollbark Forest and the Trollbark Pyramids. Using my lawful evil half-orc character (using large flail), I have seen the Tainted Elven Guards and all the various Trollbark Troll variants freeze mid-animation. The rest of the screen is operating fine, so I figure it is that bug with the AI again rearing it's ugly head. The traps and such are still in perfect order, so I believe it has nothing to do with time of day or my character build. I went in there recently with two other character builds of mine, with the same results: freezing Trollbark Trolls.

level 14 commanders room

Jaros gets stuck in the bookshelf (left hand one looking from the door to the stone) once stuck there is no way of coaxing him out.

MZW your above problem is the same as for using greatswords or other two handed weapons. It 'stuns'the character for a moment. It is a game engine (fault or design) problem.

This may have merely been a bad graphics load, but just a few minutes ago, Pish was loaded and things like her Shield of the Void, Viper's Bite sword, Holy Book of Helm and some of the potions of (can't remember which ones now!) were showing as white blocks in the inventory and skills bar. The problem persisted throughout the levels and transitions.

Hey Moz, I had that issue for a while too, but I got that patch for the running in place clipping issue, and it seemed to clear that up as well.

Some of the doors in level 14 (comanders room and leaders room for example) give problems getting through. Jaros gets stuck on the edges very easy and the 'blue' area is very big and it makes it hard to select a place to walk too.

Teri-sha has a lot of problems with movement and fighting, as well, I've noticed. For several long moments today, several times, whilst Fade was in battle, Teri-sha just stood there doing nothing and watched. She had melee equipped but apparently she'd just polished the blade and didn't want to dirty it ;) .

When you do the letter quest on lvl 11, it says its added scythe to your inventory and when you complete it it removes it but nothing is ever placed in your inventory.

lag issues - severe ones.
started around 6pm or so

online: Garnet FalconDance and myself
level playing: Twelve
characters: druid (neutral evil), fighter/ranger/rogue (chaotic good)
notes: Level Eleven we had to rush through as there was a LOT of garbage on the floor of that level. there was lagging there as well. I can't remember if there was lag on Level Ten or not.
further notes: everything went back to relatively normal after logging out of the program itself, waiting about a minute, and then logging back into the program. I had been online with the game for about six to seven hours straight.

toot, you have an inventory that you can't access, and that's where the scythe goes. Trust me ;) . Moz, depending on your system configuration, extended play can lag the server. The body bags don't help though.

Actually I think the description is wrong. beacuse you get that scythe description when you do the lost group quest (that takes you down to 12) It says it gives you a scythe but in fact it gives you the little note for the lost group.

Yeah, it's a know tileset bug. Nothing can be done with it unless I fixed each tile with a door. It's a walkmesh issue I guess.

Anyway, no worries, I won't be using that tileset again for any other levels [img]smile.gif[/img] . I didn't make it, but thought it was cool kinda.. oh well. I have 14 other new tilesets to use that are never before seen.

The Lag is not a bug, it happens sometimes.

While the subject is the Commander's room, I couldn't help noticing that he has a very plush carpet.

His feet disappear in it and when you step on it so do yours.

Still, that's no price at all to pay for the Commander's amazing armour.

Undermountain Level 1 (next to the ettin and Roddybug) and others (e.g. Level 10)

The two parallel tunnels shaped like this:

Mostly if you click in one or other tunnel or on the other side of the tunnel you just head off in the other direction (for level 1 this is back across the bridge towards the bandit bedroll): the targeting AI is screwy.

While that is a pathfinding bug, it' not exclusive to Undermountain. Pathfinding isn't the best in the world in Neverwinter Nights, despite what NWN2 naysayers would have you believe.

Same here -Roddybug's Xavier and I were stuck in an endless loop. Really annoying since we were doing so well as a newly minted team :( .

Found the issue, two doors had the exact same tag. So you went to the closest tag [img]smile.gif[/img] Fixed!
