I read somewhere that there in an elven chain +5.
Is that right and if that is the case, wereis it?

You can find some elven chain +4 on the Black Dragon in Suldanesslar.
If you have ToB, you can upgrade it to +5 (if you have a LOT of money, and a spare Protection from Normal Weapons scroll).

It doesn't work like elven chain though (ie. you can't cast spells w/ it on).

I can cast spells with it on...
