I was wondering
1) Is it better to install throne of bhaal and then start playing BG2 or just finish BG2 and then install TOB?

2) Can you still finish quests of BG2 in TOB? (I know that you can't access TOB from BG2)

3) When importing, is it better to import the final save or the exported character after killing Sarevoc?

4) If you import the final save, do you need to have the transported items on your character, or does it find them from the inventories of the whole party?

Try not to doublepost in 2 forums, specially when they're exactly the same post, k? ;)

1) The only reason not to do so from the beginning is that, with only BG2 installed, you can combine a ring/cloak/ammy of protection +2 with red dragon scale for a potent combo. This has been removed in ToB.
2)No. The only one is that, if you started the Watcher's Keep quest in SoA, you can continue in ToB. Otherwise all quests including strongholds are gone.
3)I think you're talking about BG1, if Sarevok. In any case, import the final save. If you're going SoA --> ToB, then you'll just continue automatically.
4)If you're loading BG1 --> BG2, then all your items get wiped out, xcept if you use one of the techniques listed in this post.

Hope this helps.

I answered this in the ToB forum. Don't do that again. in fact, Dundee should delete one thread.
