ive seen a lot of stupid arguments about which classes are best, but that not that smart, i mean all classes are best for what they do i mean if you want a really good archer then choose archer if you want to do unarmed attacks, chose monk.
Also if you persever with your character then they will be good, just everyone agree that all classes are best for what they do... p.s fighter dual to mages at high levels RULE |
I agree.
Each class has pros and cons. You just have to use them the right way. |
I just find it ironic that he extols the virtues of all the classes, then adds a P.S supporting a certain class. ;)

Hmm. Didn't notice that butt agree again.
|
I was gunna mention that as well! ;)
|
Mages are best! nah nah na'nah nah!!
|
i agree about fighters dualed to mage, i have a beseker thats dualled to a mage - you cant get much harder than that
|
I'm not going to argue which class is better than another, or which class could beat another in a dual. I will say, that I like spellcasters because I think that they actually take some thinking to play instead of. SLASH! HACK! PUNCH! KICK! uuuuuugh is it dead?

In my current game (and in the 2 before) I use(d) Spellcasters only as support for my fighters (hasting the party, an occasional cloudspell for hard monsters or some protection spells from my cleric). Most fights I solve via brute force.
Next time I will try a bard from BG1 to ToB and then try to rely more on spell casters. |
But anyway, I agree that no class is best or worst... Each class needs its special strategies and maybe they are easier to find for some classes and harder to find out for other classes...
