Here in South Africa we celebrate Holoween every October 31st

Halloween is not an American holliday (e.g. we didn't invent it like Independance Day, Thanksgiving), sure we celebrate it. But I believe it originated over in Europe (England maybe?).

Think its a BRITISH...not English thing...but could be wrong....

Based on Nov 1st being All Saints Day....so the 31st of October is All Hallowed's Eve...or Halloween!!

The nightof 31st is when all the Ghosts & Ghouls flee before the Saints come the following Day....

Here endeth the lesson folks!!!

We dont celebrate haloween here in Norway, but some children dresses up, and say "trick or treat".
Well, they might say the norwegian version, "knask eller knep". But it still means the same thing!
